Neurotutor
An AI assistant that helps you understand course material rather than simply giving you answers.
Works in the context of your course
Helps you understand rather than completing the learning for you
Adapts the explanation to your question
What Neurotutor is
Neurotutor is the platform’s AI learning assistant. It sits alongside the course material and can help when reading or viewing a page is not quite enough: a term is still unclear, the connection between topics has been lost, you would like to see an example or you want to explore something more deeply. You do not need to explain from scratch which course you are taking or where you are within it each time. Neurotutor receives the learning context from the platform and responds with that context in mind.
What you can ask
The same material can be approached in different ways — briefly, in more depth, through an example or through a question that helps you work through the reasoning yourself.
It works with the course material
Neurotutor is not a separate general-purpose chatbot. Its answers are grounded in the specific course and the learning context available to it on the platform. It can explain, simplify, connect concepts and help you look at the material from another angle, but it should not replace the course content with invented facts. If the available material is not enough to support a confident answer, Neurotutor should not pretend to know more than it does.
During quizzes
Neurotutor helps you learn, but it does not complete assessments for you. During protected quizzes, it will not choose the correct option, give the letter or number of the correct answer, rank options by how likely they are to be correct or turn a hint into a disguised answer. You can still ask it to explain the underlying topic, term or principle so that you can work through the question yourself.
You can continue the conversation
A conversation with Neurotutor does not have to end when you leave a particular course page. You can continue the discussion, return to an earlier question or open the conversation in the full messages interface. Each Neurotutor conversation, however, remains linked to a specific course. A conversation about one course does not become a general chat about everything.
Who can use Neurotutor
Neurotutor is available within courses that the user has access to. A platform plan does not unlock a restricted course and does not replace access to the course itself. Neurotutor responses use the same daily AI request limit as Neurodoula. There is no separate Neurotutor limit or separate set of “credits”.
How to get started
Open a course you have access to. While you are studying, open Neurotutor alongside the course material and ask your question. If you need to, you can continue the conversation in the messages section.
